This week is the annual Strategic Planning Retreat for our Postal Solutions and PackageLog teams. During these meetings, we will discuss many of the things that have helped drive our amazing growth over the past few years. As part of this, each day we will share one of the “core values” that helps focus our goals and inspires us to provide excellent service with our outstanding customer service-oriented brands.
Core Value 2: Productivity
The old adage that “time is money” has never been truer. In today’s inter-connected world, the fine line between work-life balance is getting ever thinner. In order to accomplish all of their added responsibilities, salespeople and executives alike are having to burn personal time. And even with the added time, the work pile just keep on building.
One of the biggest problems is the things that take just way too long. Dealing with packages simply takes too much time. In fact, each resident delivery that arrives at your office could cost you up to six minutes. Multiply that times the number of packages that arrive each and every day and that is a whole lot of time you could have been doing something better.
The other big problem you have is distractions. The packages arriving at your office are just causing too many distractions. Residents calling to see if their Amazon package has arrived yet. Delivery persons rolling in a mountain of boxes that need to be logged in. Family members coming into the office to pick up their stuff, finding that stuff, and then getting drawn into long conversations. All of this is eating away at the time you could have been doing something better.
That is why we are so passionate about productivity at PackageLog. Get the time you deserve back! The minutes per package diminishes into seconds. The distracting phone calls from residents cease. The time spent dealing with package pick-up is streamlined. Packages are no longer a hassle and a time suck. They become something that actually helps make you money and save you time. This is the power and passion we put into PackageLog.
We refuse to eat into the productivity of our team members and we refuse to let package problems eat into your team’s productivity.
